Christopher Harrison was the man behind the invention of aerial yoga. He was a professional gymnast and a Broadway choreographer. His new invention, aerial yoga, was a unique combination of dance, calisthenics, aerial acrobatics, gymnastics, Pilates and yoga.
We, at FLUX, were the pioneers in offering aerial yoga aka anti gravity yoga aka flying yoga in Bangalore in the very year it came into existence internationally in 2014. That was the year when Sahiba Singh, the founder of FLUX, visited Thailand to get trained in aerial yoga. Once she was back, she immediately added the facility to her center. The response that we got was phenomenal right from the day one. And the graph never went down. Even today, it provides the same awesome experience to its participants that it did when it was introduced for the first time!

What are the benefits of aerial yoga?
Aerial yoga helps with flexibility, core strength and upper body strength. It is a great way to reap the benefits of yogic inversion. That is because the aerial yoga asanas can help you with suspended inversion with simple locks. It feels good and works very well for the gut health, women’s womb health and over all blood circulation.
I have never done aerial yoga. Is it beginner friendly?
Yes, our aerial yoga classes are beginner friendly with well trained instructors. They teach aerial asanas, aerial flow, core fortification and aerial choreographies.

I am over-weight, will the hammock be able to take my weight? And it’s it safe?
Our hammocks are very safe and are attached to the ceiling with a strong anchor hold. It can take up to 100 kgs. If you are less than 100 kgs, there is nothing to worry, come fly with us!
