About the Workshop
Yes, And… Playback Theatre Training Workshop in Bangalore Indiranagar at FLUX will help participants get trained in its core fundamentals. In fact these are the fundamentals of playback theatre including the different roles (actor, musician, conductor), rituals and formats. It has the potential to turn you into a real acting hero on stage as well as in life!
The participants first get to explore the basics skills needed for improv and interactive theatre through exercises that are high-energy and fun. First, the participants are able to break their inhibitions and become comfortable to use their bodies. The next set of exercises will take them to the next step. They go deeper into elements of self-awareness, authentic expressing, and nuances of improvising both individually and as a team. It then dwells into the specific forms within Playback Theatre, both short and long. With each step, the participants get to experience how the different elements come together for a ‘playbacker’ or a playback team while performing to an audience.
